Oh, now I have to go back and click on the falling in pie links...

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I think the rest of the board would probably like it if we did, and thanks, Lee.

I see your Dean/Ellen, and run far, run fast from Dean/Jo or Sam/Ellen. I think Sam/Jo could work--or would have before BUaBS.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think Sam/Jo could work--or would have before BUaBS.

errr.

insert Bad, wrong thoughts here

I totally agree with the no Dean/Jo, so I don't think it's just the BBOC. I think both Dean and Ellen are just sex on a stick.

I've seen Dean/Jo work. Well, in the context it was in, it worked. I fear the Sam/Ellen. There's so much of it, too. But it scares me!

I think before BUaBS, though, that Sam/Jo could've worked.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I fear the Sam/Ellen. There's so much of it, too.

Huh. Really? That surprises me. Then again, I'm kinda-sorta new to the fandom.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It was the Jo/John that I just blinked at.

All over the Dean/Ellen though.

I think Dean's got the Big Block O'Concrete thing going on.
It's that right eyebrow. It quirks and I just follow happily.

I think I have a lot of reading to catch up on.

Because books.

It was the Jo/John that I just blinked at.

Ew.

I can see Dean/Ellen, but I can also see Dean/Jo. There would be lots of fighting and onemanship, but I can see it.

I'm not sure I could see Sam/Ellen. Sam/Jo definitely, at least before BUaBS.

Yep. Although, at the time, I could see Buffy/Giles, ten years down the road. I just can't see Jo/John.

Also? We all knew, didn't we, that Alona Tal served a hitch in the Israeli army?

See, and it's funny that I'd have any kind of twitch response to Sam/Ellen, given the following random SPN pairings that have really worked for me in fic:

  • Jess/John
  • Jess/Dean
  • I swear I saw Jess/Jo and liked it, or maybe I just dreamed it. You know, I'm seeing a theme here, involving Jess. Hmm.
  • Jo/Ash.

Huh. Really? That surprises me. Then again, I'm kinda-sorta new to the fandom.

I think it's a case where one decent writer ran with it, and a few others followed. I'm kind of guilty of that in other fandoms, so.
