Dean really spends a lot of S2 feeling helpless, doesn't he?
What struck me was often he seemed to be assessing Sam. I could be reading into based on what I know of the rest of the season, but even here it seemed he was looking at Sam as if he was a ticking bomb.
JA really is quite a good actor, isn't he? It's nice to see that, given that he could easily coast by on The Pretty if he wanted to.
I know! Poor Metallicar. And to think that they mean to do more to her! Hasn't she been through enough?
They did give JA a lot of angst to play, and he does it so well. JP slipped under the radar with his impressive step up in acting ability. He'd been whiny brattish early twenties WB guy, and without me, at least, paying attention, he grew into a real actor. Sort of like DB did.
It's incremental, and one particular episode he suddenly blows you away (IOHEFY, HotH) with his performance. But when you rewatch, you can tell it was building all through the season.
Oh, and, yeah. though I didn't chime in at the time, I'm right there with the Dean/Ellen chemistry. Yep.
Are we still supposed to put in the jump marks for first and last post? I can. if we need to.

I totally agree with the no Dean/Jo, so I don't think it's just the BBOC. I think both Dean and Ellen are just sex on a stick.
