Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You must go get a pre-emptive passport! That's what I did! Hell, you never know when you'll have to flee the country.

JenP, when I was younger and didn't have a steady job, I kept a suitcase packed in the back of my car with everything I'd need if I suddenly found myself on the road. It came in handy a few times. "No, it's okay, I have a change of underwear in the trunk."

Art Crawl!!!

So they ran 4 season 1 episodes of LoM today on BBCA and are advertising that they will be running season 2 in JANUARY.

Hex, Torchwood, LoM on Saturdays? Maybe some Afterlife and Sea of Souls as well?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

same four eps of LoM (second half of season 1?) are repeating on BBCA at 2am tonight, whee!

Never caught in on BBCA when it first came round, but I did see a killer fanvid that made me salivate to see more. "Clubfoot" by Charmax, if I remember right.

Mmm, I don't want to start watching LoM in the middle of season 1. Is it out on DVD at all?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think it's only out in the UK so far.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I'm drawing a complete blank here.... (of course, I'm cruising on migraine meds and painkillers, too, so that doesn't help, but --) what's LoM?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Life on Mars. About a cop who gets hit by a car, and then it all goes weird.

Weird and awesome.

Hell, you never know when you'll have to flee the country.

Hee, I've used that very line WRT to my passport.

JenP, when I was younger and didn't have a steady job, I kept a suitcase packed in the back of my car with everything I'd need if I suddenly found myself on the road. It came in handy a few times. "No, it's okay, I have a change of underwear in the trunk."

That is awesome. A friend and I decided on a whim once to drive to Toronto (from DC, starting at 2a) during a long weekend. If we'd been as prepared, we'd have saved a good couple of hours going to my house, then his before hitting the road. Aw. That was a fun, if insane, little trip. Silly kids.
