'Get It Done'
Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Nope. Came up last night at my house.
Cool.
This weekend is going to be very SPNish, isn't it?

Just flail and squee, girls. Flail and squee.
Just flail and squee, girls. Flail and squee.
This is the plan.
Also, Cass and I have already decided that next year, we will be in Seattle for the finale, instead of showing up the next day.

man! why do they make us wait so long?!
I just read that Jeffrey Dean Morgan wasn't able to fly to Vancouver, so all his scenes were shot on a greenscreen. I never would have guessed he wasn't actually there. Didn't he even hug Dean? Maybe they flew Jensen down.

he put his hand on his shoulder. that whole scene, when all the Winchesters were standing together, looked greenscreened to me and it kind of took me out of the moment.

The background was definitely hinky for me, so much that I too was distracted from the emotional impact of the moment. But, you know, Jensen Ackles distracted me from that approximately a nanosecond later.
so all his scenes were shot on a greenscreen.
AH-HA. I was wondering why the f*ck they were making such liberal use of the greenscreen. In fact, I even said so out loud. To Martin's cat. Who was unimpressed with my flail.
Next year in Seattle, you say? Hmmmm.
I know. I think I'm more disturbed that people will actually start reading mine.
I've gotten as far as beginning my profile in LJ, and actually friending some people (mostly Buffistas, and some SPN fic writers), and trying out some style formats, but I haven't actually posted anything. As LJ keeps reminding me. It just seems like a first post ought to be something memorable or eye-catching, and I haven't been feeling all that creative. Aileann, if you'd like another "real person" to add to your list, although at the moment I won't be adding a lot to it, I'm morgana_st on LJ.
Ooh, I know what I want to talk about! What interpretations do people have of Sam's extremely angry face when he offs Jake? Other than "ooh, I've gone a bit evil!"
I haven't rewatched it yet, but since I was yelling "Just shoot the bastard!" at the TV, I'm not overly worried about Sam being evil. Sam was righteously pissed off -- Jake had tried to kill him (Sam didn't know for sure yet that Jake had indeed killed him), was in league with the YED, was trying to kill Ellen, and was most likely about to attempt to kill off the rest of them. He needed to be stopped. Given his new, even stronger super powers, there weren't a lot of other ways to do that. Sam had already tried reason, and to join forces with him once, and got stabbed in the back. There was no time. Lethal force seemed the way to go to me.
