The guy playing YED was the marshall that had Kate as a prisoner on flight 815. He has been in a lot of shows and almost always some kind of creep.
Ava's situation bugs. Why would she be the only one to show up with such a large time gap? Makes me wonder if she's in cahoots with the YED.
YED is Fredric Lehne, [link] He was also the baddie in Heart of Gold. he's been on Bones, and lots of other tv. And he is nicely creepy as the YED.
