Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Also, Kristin or Robin? I need a rec for someone to fix my hair. I am suddenly Very Very Gray.

YAY Allyson!

Kat, the OTH's name and number has been sent to you.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm trying to decide how my buying Allyson's book can do the most good. I'm thinking of ordering it from Powell's by clicking through from the link on This American Life. Unless, Alysson do you have a favorite bookstore link?

Not the right Kristin but, Kat, this person was recommended to me by one of my former co-workers, whose hair I liked quite a lot.

Yay galleys! (Boo on FedEx, however. )

Yay hair rescue! Have a cupcake!

Yay prom!

Uh, yeah, I got invited over to see Miss Louise's g-granddaughter off to her senior (senior?!! How the fuck did that happen?!) prom tomorrow night. Which is making me smile. Also, feel old because I remember when she was still in single digits.

Man, driving home was full of the stupids. A kid darted in front of me from behind a truck. I saw a dumptruck rear-end a civic hatchback. The cop behind me had to squeal his brakes to avoid rear-ending me because he was busy watching the guy trimming his lawn with scissors.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ah, one last post in this Natter for me...

Or, failing that, you can e-mail it to my profile addy and I can put it somewhere and link to it. I am unreasonably excited about Allyson's galleys and I'm just a bystander.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If you go to the Buffistas Links page (linked on the right here), we have an affiliate program with Amazon that pays us money -- I (I mean "we") just got $13 from them, so thanks, guys!

FYI, I've never gotten paid out from any other affiliate, so either people aren't using them or I screwed up the sign-up process.... (I do get statements from amazon.ca and .uk, we just never make any money there.)
