"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I have a friend who does diving in Belize a lot. It's his One True Vacation.

I want to take just about every one of those GAP Adventures, but particularly the Bohemian one.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

You know what's helping my mood? Listening to "Lack of Knowledge" by the Violent Femmes on repeat. It even drowns out Tiny in the cubicle next to me, who I swear has been on the telephone for 3 hours straight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wiy o wiy do I keep clicking on those vacation links??

At least it's more fun than thinking about pedophiles.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So beautiful.

But I need to get back to work. I'm severely distracted now.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

This thread is totally going to turn over while I'm off the board, isn't it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ack! I did it again!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Pretty much. What is your idea? I'm trying (lord knows why) to scope a Belize dive trip with SCUBA certification for someone who's already done the written stuff.

Complex-- probably Greece, definitely in late August, and involving physical activity with enough relaxing downtime and good food and wine. Most of the biking tours I've seen are biking every day all day-- I am looking for something combined with enjoying the water and beaches. I am guessing my best bet is a few days at a beach resort with a focus on activities.

Apparently there is some sort of satellite/cable box/service in the UK that shares a name with a piece of software we wrote. Apparently, they are having service issues.

And apparently, a lot of people who have the box/thing are not very bright. We come up second on google, but the snippet clearly describes what ours is.

I've never been so happy not to have a conference call start on time. I am currently sitting in my office with the door closed listening to Lite Rock come out of the speaker phone. Relaxing! Although I'm starting to worry I dialed the wrong number somehow...

Do you need an organised tour, bon? Can't you rent bicycles and take it at your own pace?

It's become readily apparent that I could spend the rest of my life just taking Central and South American vacations. Which will never do, since I have to get back to Africa, and I've still not been to Asia.
