MI is definitely the less-good predecessor for House -- they both have the same story line everyweek. Is it this? Is it that? No? OMG! Wait -- I got it!
Natter Area 51: The Truthiness Is in Here
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ah yes, Typo Boy, that rings right. Maybe that's why they left it out, then. Still wish they'd tried something to approximate it, though.
In allergy news, I am recklessly using my nasal spray more often than the label recommends. Not a LOT more often, I don't think. I have trouble thinking when my sinuses are full of gunk and remembering when I am supposed to use it next requires thinking, seemingly more than I can really manage today. I hope my head doesn't explode or anything.
OK, this could not be any more random, but I can't remember who I was having this conversation with out loud, so I'm going to share it with you people. Years ago, I caught some of the summer Paralympics on TV, and was amazed at the one-legged high jumpers. Whoever I was telling about it recently absolutely would not believe me. But it's YouTube to the rescue! [link] Freaking incredible.
Now I have to decide if I should send that link to everyone I've had a conversation with in the past month, just in case.
If only they'd made McDonough meaner and maybe gimpy.
I don't mind shows being formulaic at all, as long as they are interesting within the formula. Knowing that this treatment can't possibly work because it's only half-past is A-OK, I still want to know how it goes wrong and what they're gonna do to fix it. If that gets to be too much the same all the time, there may be a problem.
I watched it because McDonough was so wonderful on Boomtown, and I was mourning the loss of that show. M.I. was not a replacement for it, sadly.
So true.
I have since gotten Boomtown on DVD but hardly ever watch it because I get made all over again that it's gone.
Okay, so here is my hair. Straightened with a blow dryer, poor self-portraits due to shaky hands from OMG hunger. It shall be all wavy after I take a shower.
Very nice, shrift!
Ooh, very nice, shrift!
I watched it because McDonough was so wonderful on Boomtown, and I was mourning the loss of that show. M.I. was not a replacement for it, sadly.
True fact.
