Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

it was 64 degrees in my office this morning. Now it is up to 67. still not warm enough.

Do you work in my office? I have fled to the outdoors, in hopes that I can get some work done once my fingers thaw out enough to type.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

But I can't imagine saying something about euthanasia-as-convenience to a person who's just mentioned their sick pet.

Well, no. That's just dead wrong. I was just commenting on offhand-delivery people. Or possibly off hand-delivery people. Or off-hand delivery-people. Er.

So yeah, I got all the way down there and was told that they changed it to 1 and thought they'd called everybody. So I've got a couple of hours to kill in which I Must Be Productive. Kill me now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's an abomination against nature, that's what it is.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also on the BBC site:

Camel's Milk Could Hit UK Shelves Soon -- which means I can hope to get that here, and maybe camel's milk cheese? I have hopes of it, because I can't have sheep or goat cheese with no reaction, but I'm hoping camelids are un-cow enough.

If anybody finds a US-source for camel or reindeer cheese, let me know, K?

Theo, you know I'm sure I heard there was a "dromedairy" somewhere in the western US. Aimée would probably remember better than I--I know I read it here.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I know of one just south of LA, I think. Close to San diego, maybe?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There's an amazing article about Judd Apatow in the NYTimes magazine this week, and I don't know where to link it! Movies? TV Comedy? Eh, here it is: [link]

Hmmph. Found it. But they don't seem to sell anything other than camel milk soap. But it might be a good place to ask for more info.

Unrelatedly, this corset is so damned comfortable. How did I forget? I want more.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I just read that, cowgirl! Awesome.
