Thanks for the happies, everyone.
I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day. And if you get a chance, thank a veteran or a soldier today. I just sent a "thank you" email to my Grandad, who served as a radio man on a submarine in the Pacific in WWII.
And you and Senior Sock have my deepest sympathies, tommyrot.
Happy birthday, Sean!
tommyrot, I don't know what to say. Other than Senor Sock has been very fortunate to have someone who obviously cares for him so much.
This, totally.
So, I was just sitting on my front stoop and saw a cute-boy neighbor I'd never seen before. I did NOT ask him out.

I did NOT ask him out.
Where is your sense of romance?
I'm quite sure there are no single men in my complex within my putative age range (legal-50)¹. So I'm free and clear of that sort of issue.
¹: That aren't living with their parents--it might not be a red flag, but it's certainly nothing I'd like to deal with.
Happy birthday, Sean!
Tommyrot, I'm so sorry. You and Senor are in my thoughts. ND sends his support as well.
We are driving through another monsoon on our way to the Houston airport. Everything is flooded. We are really looking forward to coming home.
Wow. So, is it rainy all over the central part of the USA? Because it's chilly and gray in Illinois too. I'm kind of aghast that I'm having hot cocoa on Memorial Day. I don't believe I've ever done that before.
Laga, you're probably right.
sumi, it's clear and sunny in Milwaukee. Weird
