Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You have one of the most interesting internet hobbies out there. Blog schmog.
Mmmm, Provocateuse.

I am sorry you didn't pass the black belt test. I know how much effort and pain you'd put into it. I am in awe of you, often.

Just curious.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

TAR: why why WHY do the sausage when perfectly nice bagelmaking is available? OK, so the one set of teams couldn't find it easily (the late night obviously didn't help them with finding directions) but that anyone would think it was an easier task to eat so much sausage floors me.

And I have NEVER hoped so much that a horse would trample a contestant when Mirna was yammering away. I felt very much for Charla because trying to lead something so much taller than you has to be scary, but her cousin is beyond my last nerve.

At least the Guidos went out on a note of grace and good sportsmanship!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Sorry to hear you didn't pass, ita. But I think just getting to the point where you could take the test is pretty amazing given all the pain you've had to deal with in recent months.

I tried a trendy new restaurant downtown called Sauce, which specializes in unusual seasonings (you can mix and match your own or order regular items off the menu) and has cool funky decor that kept me from feeling out of place while wearing shorts, wifebeater, and Hawaiian shirt. Which also warded off the panhandlers. (Or maybe that was dancing down the sidewalk to Quad City DJs on my nano.)
