The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope Senor Sock is doing well this morning, Tommy.

I had big plans for today, of getting lots of stuff done and then going to see Waitress. I think they may have all been replaced by going back to bed, as many times as possible.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Folks with diabetic cats might be interested in this thread on the Feline Diabetes Board. To summarize, many diabetic cats have their need for insulin lowered, or even stopped needing it at all, after their diet is changed to exclude dry cat food, and switched to a very low carbohydrate cat food. (Wellness is one.)

Of course not every cat reacts the same way, and sometimes diabetes is just genetically fated no matter what you do, but all cats benefit from a very-low-carb wet diet.

I've lost both human and cat dearly-beloveds to diabetes. I hate it. If you've got a diabetic cat - or any cat, really - seriously, take a look at this site.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Poor Senor Sock. I hope today finds him in better health and spirits.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

All kinds of ~ma to Senor Sock and tommyrot.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

~ma to Senor Sock (how much do I love that name? So dearly).

Aw, poor tommy & Senor Socks. Sucks, but it is dealable. Scary how quickly it came on! MK was a slow ramp up of other symptoms, but no collapse. Eek!

Stayed up way too late cause the 'rents called and dad & I just kept going off on tangent after tangent and suddenly it was almost 2 am. Ack! I've taken several naps.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm watching the Life on Mars mini-marathon on BBCA and right before they started the first episode they ran a little PSA that said something like - Even British people sometimes find British accents difficult to understand so use Close Captioning - and included directions on how to get your close captioning to work.

It was hilarious.

Can I go back to bed now?

On the bright side, I got almost 8 hours in a week of 4s and 5s, and my sore throat isn't very bad.
