Oh, ha. So apparently we're not going to have satellite TV until Sunday because DirecTV is staffed by incompetent assmonkeys.

If any Buffistas work for DirecTV, well, I'm so sorry that you have to work with such incompetent assmonkeys.

It DOES suck about the magnet job and I'm pissed and I'm offended. And incredibly disappointed.

But now I can go back to calling them the maggot kids.

Testing is such a skill and those little plugger testers, at least the ones who do super well on state standardized tests, are doing their part in keeping up real estate prices.

I snatched this from Polgara, but have any of you seen the Golden Compass Trailer? I've just recently reread the book and am pretty excited to see it, even if I will find it maddening.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

but if it's true that SAT writing scores don't correlate well with students' actual writing ability, I don't think it's the right instrument

problem is, we don't know yet. We don't use it for admissions purposes. The writing classes may use it, but I don't know.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Noah and Grace are both in open cribs as of today.

YAY

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I still need to finish Heroes-- I have two eps unwatched. Same goes for Veronica Mars, and I have 5 or so Houses, and 7 or 8 Riches.

Luckily it's a long summer.

OK, people watch Bingo on tv? WHY. I'm so not that demographic.

I ought to go to bed as to avoid finding myself half naked when the ac people show.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, that's so cute to see the babies practically up and about in comparison to their previous norm.

I've had an appallingly, no good, horrible migraine 24 hours. I don't have words to do it justice, but they'd involve things like "Withdrawal? Why did no one mention that as a possibility before or during giving me the drugs?"

It means that I caught up on Natter in one fell swoop, and I don't think the reading comprehension tricks work as well for it. Still, I like pink more than floral, and am happy that Fred's cat is doing better, and I most definitely slept through lunch.

Coding and Sleeping

So I went to flickr and put in 'COMMic' to see if any new comics have been put there. I wasn't expecting to work well, but some of the results are equally amusing.

COMMic?
