I had to take Comp I because I did so poorly on the essay portion of my college entrance thingy. STILL BITTER.
Me too! Even midway through the class they were telling me I shouldn't be in there. Adding that class to my schedule is one reason I'm not a doctor, plus easy A, so I'm pretty happy about it.
Ok, am home and she showed me her print out...
- Critical Reading - 620 - 83%
- Math - 640 - 83%
- Writing - 600 - 81%
----Multiple Choice 58 (range 20-80)
----Essay 9 (range 2-12)
The % is the national percentile.
smart kid you've got there, Suzi.
Those are good scores! Where does she think she can pick up points, SuziQ? I ask as a former instructor for Princeton Review.
I've had 3 phone calls informing me the a/c will be installed tomorrow! "In time for the long weekend!"
Maybe I made an impression? Now if they just will not make a holy mess.
Once that's done, I know one thing I'll be doing this weekend: dusting. Jiminychristmas, there is pollen EVERYWHERE. And I hate dusting. And everything must be dusted. EVERYTHING.
Gnarhg.
Timelies all!
One more day till this week is over and I can go to Balticon . I'm a bit of a stress puppy right now...
But A/C! YAY A/C! This weekend must be cleaning and grading.
Also, sarameg, check flickr.
Kat - I asked and her first response was writing. And then she added that she should have done better at math. Oh, and while she "sucks" at critical reading, she wants to take an online review course for that.
Suzi, those are very good scores. Is K-Bug applying to very competitive schools or have the requirements gone up a lot?
I know from PR stuff that in general it's easier to pick up points on the multiple choice which she did super well on. And math is generally easier to fix than critical reading, though critical reading there are tricks to raising those scores too.
Noah and Grace are both in open cribs as of today. Don't know if it is a permanent thing, but they both look super super tiny in them now. Where in an isolette they looked big, now they are back to being tiny.
