Hey, speaking of hair matters, can anyone recommend a hair dye/rinse that would color gray and white hairs bright fire engine red but not bleach or lighten existing dark hair? I have just enough gray that I think I might get an interesting red highlight effect rather than looking like Ronald McDonald if I could find the right product.
Hmm. Your hair as I recall it isn't that dark, or else I'd say almost any demi would do it. Are you willing to have deep auburn with red highlights?
Paul used Special Effects as can be seen here: [link] to pull purple into his grey, but his base is black.
great NOW I want a monkey (Lee yours was a chimp, therefore an ape).

By the way, have I mentioned that my hair is really freaking short yet today?

That's a cool picture Plei. The purple and black looks good together. I'mma show that to Mr. Jane. He's been steadily lightening his, but if he wanted to go in a whole nother direction, I think that would look good on him.

The gray makes my hair seem lighter, but it's a dark brown maybe 2 shades shy of black and fights back against bleach-dyeing pretty hard. I think I'd be cool with the dark auburn, though my preference is for something akin to the color combo when Japanese folks get red highlighted tips. Main thing is, I don't want the brown part to go any lighter and get that coppery look.
You might want to get it done at a salon, Matt.
I agree. Salon is the way to go, though if you decide against it, Wonder!hairdresser E. recommends Just for Men.

That would be an excellent cut for you. Not a dramatic change or particularly risky but you would look pretty.
Lee, your hair is indeed short, but it's very very cute on you. And by "cute" of course I realy mean sexy.
