I hate to break it to you, oh impotent one, but you're not the big bad anymore, you're not even the kind of naughty.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

There should be some Bones/Supernatural crossover fic, where we find out that the real reason that Brennan's mom & dad were on the run is that they were Hunters.

Or a Bones/The Riches crossover where Brennan's 'rents were Travelers.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

FNL: I think if anyone's relationship could stand it, it's the Taylors. I guess I'm also looking at it from the point of view of someone who's parent coached both college and HS (as well as a little semi-pro). Right now, Dallas is as far away as he'll have to go. In addition to college coaching taking up more time, he'll be doing a. lot. more travelling. Games, conferences, just a lot more.

Also, I think one of the reasons he flipped out about her wanting to stay without him for a while is that he feels somewhere that he's abandoning those kids too. I think that's why Tami made it a point to say in her speech that he loved them, because he needed to hear that, to know he wasn't a bad guy for taking the TMU job.

What is even happening?

I can't believe no one has said this yet, but product can go hand in hand with wash-dry-and-go! The best haircut I ever had, I just threw some product in and let it airdry, and it looked awesome.

This is true. You just need the right product. Usually something very light, if you're not going be fussing with your hair.

Heh. At this point, I'm not sure what my hair is going to look like in a couple of hours. If I do anything drastic, I'll bust out the digital camera.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hey, speaking of hair matters, can anyone recommend a hair dye/rinse that would color gray and white hairs bright fire engine red but not bleach or lighten existing dark hair? I have just enough gray that I think I might get an interesting red highlight effect rather than looking like Ronald McDonald if I could find the right product.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If I do anything drastic, I'll bust out the digital camera.

That's a very healthy attitude. Actually, even if its not drastic, it would be nice to have some shrift pictures. It would make my day better.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

FNL: Daisy, it's funny, isn't it? How it's personal for you in a way it can't ever be for me, and yet, it's personal for me.

But yeah, college coaching is a whole 'nother thing, and the family's lives will change in more ways than one, no matter what they do.

shrift, hee, it's fun. Roll the bones! Of course, that's me just talking out of positive hair energy today.
