When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

I had some sort of deliciously rich, cheesy, and tender chicken thing at a Mexican place. It was very tasty. And decadent. Then I went to Borders and bought things I didn't need, really, but am glad to have. Yay, books.

And, wow, I just had a really painful back of the thigh cramp. Ouch. And also weird; I'm just sitting here all innocent-like.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Was it enchiladas suiza? One of my faves.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Which - are the Swiss really such enchilada enthusiasts? I've never understood where that came from.

I ordered something off Target.com 10 days ago, just got the email that it has shipped. 10 days?! really? that seems awfully slow for order fulfillment.

Isn't it suiza because of the cheese?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My home internet died for almost half an hour.

It was very scary.

It's DELICIOUS because of the cheese.

Was it enchiladas suiza? One of my faves.

It was called Chicken Guadalupe, so... kind of made up, I think. It was stuffed with delicious things like spinach and maybe sausage and some yummy, spicy sauce. And suh-mothered in delicious melty cheese.

It's DELICIOUS because of the cheese.

This!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm pulling an all-nighter tonight because I need to be really sleep tomorrow night so I can get to sleep at 8:00 pm and up by 4:30. Gotta get down to Dad's by 6:30 am on Friday so we can get on the road for my uncle's in Ohio by 7:00.

So, right now, I'm making tapes for my dad's truck (it's an old truck, with only a tape player--we tried to play a CD Walkman with a car adapter a few years back, and it didn't work). I got Lyle Lovett, John Mellencamp (his blues album), the Monkees, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Steve Goodman, and Jim Croce so far. Dad's a big fan of folk music, but also likes classic oldies, so I'll also be taping the Beatles' Love album and some Paul Simon. He can keep all these tapes so he'll have something new to listen to on his long road trips east that he takes a few times a year.

Then I just need to finish cleaning the apartment while I'm up, get tanked up on caffeine, go to work before 9:00, and then see if my boss will let me take a half day (I don't think I'll be very functional at work) so I can come home, do laundry, pack, and then go to bed.

Sometimes, even weekends away are almost more trouble getting ready for than they're worth.
