I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

For lack of anything better to do, I'm back to reading about FanLib.

Read this instead: passive-aggressive notes from roommates, neighbors, coworkers and strangers

hip deep in pie

OMG, I could fill a whole blog with those kind of notes from around my office.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I forgot the yahoo id that links to my ita_ita_ita flickr account. So I can't play BRQG.

Today's blouse is more sheer than I was expecting. A simple all the way down bra isn't enough. Will need tank or camisole.

Ah, well, next time.

I hate knowing today's migraine is going to be a doozy. Wednesdays are especially bad for me, for reasons I can't divine. I hope that not taking Percoset last night isn't a factor, but I'm already feeling the left arm weakness, and that never ends well. Still, live in the moment rather than fear of the next onset. Hard to do sometimes, but I gotta try.

The fuck???:

France has said it plans to offer incentives to more immigrants - especially those from Africa - to return home voluntarily.

New Immigration Minister Brice Hortefeux said a family with two children would be paid 6,000 euros (£4,068) to return to their country.

Look, if you didn't want them in, don't let them in (I'm assuming they're legal, since the article doesn't mention otherwise).

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Oh noes! I can't open the BRQG! But I'm addicted to COMMics!

JenP - May 23, 2007 10:12:24 am PDT #8861 of 10001

The COMMics are hilarious, people. Of course, now I'm searching COMM to find out who said what.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That passive-aggressive notes site is hilarious!

Oh, about the Flickr TOS? When you click on that link it takes you to the Yahoo TOS, which is unspecific, flickr-wise, as far as I can tell.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sexual orientation affects how we navigate and recall lost objects

...in mental rotation (a task where men usually perform better) they found that the table of best performance to worst was:

* Heterosexual men
* Bisexual men
* Homosexual men
* Homosexual women
* Bisexual women
* Heterosexual women

In general, over the range of tasks measured, where a gender performed better in a task heterosexuals of that gender tended to perform better than non-heterosexuals. When a particular gender was poorer at a task homosexual and bisexual people tended to perform better than heterosexual members of that gender.
