Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

What's even scarier is I think I said something like this at work in the past two weeks. One of our support teams doesn't respond unless you communicate with them in that way.

Man, remind me tomorrow at work to message you what my immediate suggestion would have been, as it just shows you which org I work for, really.

I'd share with the class, but you're the only one who'd get why it's funny.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm so sorry, Fred.

In weird me me me news, we are considering purchasing a chest deep freezer for breastmilk and maybe food that can be microwaved for when kidlets come home. Sure...we have neither crib nor cradle but we might have a deep freeze.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Fred, I am so sorry. {{Fred, Hubs, Teddy}}

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fred, what they all said, especially the part about not needing to be strong here.

Sara, I guess that wasn't me after all. Because I sure seemed to have that headache all night, right up until the bit with the two percoset.

Swouncing

Skipping and poking head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Vortex's birthday.

Happy birthday, Vortex! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Also, 5 years ago, exactly, was the first Buffistas F2F.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Jilli and Plei make me laugh. Because this particular case isn't, but we do have strategic alliances with y'all, so I'm not at all surprised you hear the same "language".

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Vortex!
