Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Our standard comfort when they're crying or mad is, "There, there. You can tell your therapist all about it when you're a grown up."

That's awesome.

So, I'm watching one of the last few episodes of Homicide (I can't stop!), and there's a teenager called Casper, so of course it's Kenny Wangler from Oz/Bodie from The Wire. I love how those guys all use the same actors all the time. Although that guy is always Kenny Wanger to me.

More foo.

It's really bizarre (and in this case, upsetting) to find yourself being the grownup in a relationship with a parent. And yet, I keep getting stories (my own included) that indicate that it's ridiculously common. Especially when it involves grandchildren. Well, I guess it says something about them doing something right...somewhere...

Two people in the grocery store made me go ahead of them because I only had 2 things. That was nice.

Always Anti-fascist!

Every time I see him, even on a Hershey's ad, I end up yelling "Bodie!" Great actor, even if I don't know his name.

J.D. Williams, FYI. I can't believe he's only ever been in one Law and Order! As "second kid," no less.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, it seems like Mr. Williams missed out on a NY Actor rite of passage there!

Hey, erika! Bones started out in B'more tonight! With the WORST faux accented utterance of "Balmer" ever by a faux local cop. WORST.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
