Of course. It was France, where it is totally encouraged to teach by humiliation. It was handled in front of the entire class. Honestly, I doubt that kid will ever do anything like that again. I'll take that over an "Honor Board" any day.

I really don't think that they should give parents of preemies those bills--you guys shouldn't even have to see that shit. Besides all the other stuff you're dealing with, I would think that seeing those figures would only add to the stress (no matter who is covering the bills).

I always get freaked by the EOB's my insurance company sends out--just seeing the costs they charge gives me hives.

Fuck, my ER bills freak me out, and those don't even rate as hospital bills go.

In news of major relief to me, they've worked out my insurance issues, and now I have the correct plan. No ID#, so I'm not sure what to do about the scripts I have to refill, but it's a start.
