Ewan McGregor's going to star in a new London production of "Othello" as Iago, with Chiwetel Ejiofor as Othello.
Buffista heavy breathing aside, this is some interesting casting. I'd be curious to see how EM does, as I don't think I've ever seen him play an out and out villain before. His natural likeability could make for a very interesting take on the character.
Congrats on the addition to the family, sarameg.
I'm trying to think where I saw Ewan play a nasty little shit--the insider trading movie, at least. Can't remember where else, but I do think his likeability makes for a more interesting villain.
Kinda like Denzel's turn in
Training Day.
He didn't turn off the appeal--he just used it for evil.

WOW! Note to self: Plan London trip. Also, rob bank to fund London trip.
sarameg, CONGRATS on new auntihood! I'm so happy for you and your family! Also, GAH about maintenance. Give 'em hell, auntie-lady.
Oooh! yay! congrats sarameg! Tyler is adorable.
Ewan=supreme yumminess. Wasn't he an asshat in Trainspotting? It's been years since I've seen it and I can't quite remember.

Rogue Trader
I think. Never saw that, but I remember the previews (on HBO, I think).

Exactly.
Need an accomplice?
Hells yeah. Buy us some Reagan masks and meet me in the park at midnight.
