I can see that. Moving is a drag t looks balefully at the unopened boxes of my clothes in the nursery so I can see where that would be a limiting factor. But sometimes, change, while hard, is good. Or at least inevitable.
Natter Area 51: The Truthiness Is in Here
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

prints onto large banner. hangs on ceiling.
It definitely needs thinking about, and I think I am going to revamp my resume this weekend, in any case.
Speaking of change, I need to go get my hair done. I think I'm going to go back to dark red, but I may change my mind between now and then.
But sometimes, change, while hard, is good. Or at least inevitable.
So very true.
ETA: Aims, you able to chat on AIM?
So many good pictures while I was asleep! sarameg's adorkable nephew, cranky Matilda, hummingbirds!
Apart from the silly bow at the bottom, which I would get rid of, what do people think of these boots: [link] ?
I like them, although the heel would be too high for me.
Hm. I believe we've found a good way to ward off the unwanted attentions of an insistent suitor. "I'm sorry, honey, you're great but you look just like my dad/mom. I mean, I just can't, you know!"
I had a coworker who used a version of this to try to ward off a skeevy boss. "You remind me so much of my dad..." It probably would have been a stretch to say they looked so much alike, since they were not the same race.
Aims, you able to chat on AIM?
yeah, sure. for a little bit.
I've stabbed myself with the insulin needle multiple times and I'm not dead yet!
So whose maintenance manager isn't in today? Yeah. Great.
So I'm eating a lunch of cranberry orange scones and diet root beer. Because I can.
At my parents' house the water heater is pretty much as far from the main bathroom as possible. And the pipes are embedded in the foundation. It takes for-freaking-ever to get hot water. The most ridiculous part is that the kitchen sink, which is close to the water heater, takes even longer. We suspect it is the end of the line for the pipe that delivers to the far shower. They finally installed a cabinet water-cycler and heater under the sink. Still takes a while to warm up, but you aren't wasting water in the meantime.
Cupcakes! [link]
I've only eaten the sunny-side up one (peach cake with buttercream and an apricot) which was teh yum. I may go back today to try to snag one of the pancake ones. (For those not playing along, buttermilk cake with maple buttercream and bacon sprinkled on top.) The others are the cherry cheese danish and the pink grapefruit.
There's supposed to be super-efficient hot-water-on-demand heaters on the market now, so that you're not keeping a bathtub-full of water hot all the time.
PS, when I win a bunch of money, I'm definitely starting a vegan cupcake store.
