Uh, I shouldn't admit it, but yeah, I'm awake. More pix? Or what?
There was a point at which I realised that PJ Patterson and Julius Nyerere and at least one other childhood crush of mine kinda looked like my dad. Having once in adulthood been propositioned by a guy who looked like him, I can easily say that any charms homeslice might have had were irrelevant, because no freaking way. Just no.
Okay, back to pictures. I love hitting the motherlode of quality scans, but oh, the time spent traversing directory trees...
Well, I intended to take a nap and then maybe head back down to Looptopia, but I just woke up an hour ago, and now I'm waiting for pizza.
I had a similar experience with a blind date who eerily resembled my best friend. Which was sad, because he was actually one of the nicer and more stable guys I've gone out with, but plastic surgery is a bit much to ask for before agreeing to a second date.
I am now home from Looptopia. There was quite the turnout and it got more crowded around 10pm. I don't think the organizers anticipated that since the events tapered off around midnight. It was impossible to get into the Cultural Center around 1am. People were pouring out the doors I'm told they were being sent out because it was too crowded inside. So instead of watching a sci-fi B-movie marathon followed by the Sunrise Celebration (drum trio and Whole Foods breakfast) I ended my evening with a very fun Punjabi dance lesson.
Sounds just wonderful to me, aurelia!
It has now occurred to me, several days later, that the reason I've been ready for bed around 9-10PM the past couple days is not merely left-over F2F exhaustion, but the fact that I'm back on the upped Paxil dose. Perhaps not so coincidentally, I've not been having that much achiness, which is always a nice thing....
Theo, did the Celexa not work for you?
Er... early AM fogginess still holds my brain hostage -- it's Celexa, not Paxil.refrf
(Chumley added to the above sentence).
Speaking of cats, here's some Shakespearean LOL Cats
So I'm actually up appallingly early on a weekend so I can go....complain.
I'm so excited. Maybe that's why I'm still not dressed.
