You're right. He's evil. But you should see him naked. I mean really!

hip deep in pie

My cat likes drinking the liquid from canned beans. And the beans themselves.

I have a friend who was an ovo/lacto vegetarian for about 15 years. But then, for some reason, she felt the diet wasn't working for her body anymore, and starting slowly adding fish into her diet, and eventually some meat. It's funny because I still think of her as vegetarian, and plan nights out to places with good vegetarian selections, even though she will eat meat.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister had her fibroids out today, and her surgeon took photos of her with her womb outside her body.

Is that normal?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, I just yawned the best yawn ever. My ears totally popped, and now I think I have to turn down the TV.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Is that normal?

Possibly, to record the state of the organ? Or is it a teaching hospital? Before/after pics for medical record?

My dad wants to see the pictures. And if given the option, wants to be awake so he can watch.

I'd guess it kinda makes sense (the pictures, not my dad) from an info-gathering perspective.

How's she feeling?

No, she's a photography buff.

My sister doesn't mind in the least, but I'm not sure if the doc asked permission.

Sister seems to be mostly fine. Dazed. I found myself going into too much detail asking about medication and fibroid size and location. Then I remembered to ask about her as a person. Okay, I guess.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I think they photograph a lot of surgeries now, for recordkeeping. I know they gave me a LOVELY picture of my uterus and ovaries, et al.

Did you cast an evil eye on them, Robin? Burn the image in effigy?

I'm glad ita's sister is doing OK.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I would totally want pictures.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yeah, I'd want the pictures too. I had one friend who asked to have her knee reconstruction done under an epidural instead of general so's she could watch -- compared to that, a couple of snapshots seems so easy.
