Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

These people would seem to be either very stupid or deliberately abusive.

My guess is that they are the sort to completely ignore all facts that contradict their world view.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

IME, people on any kind of (voluntarily) extremely restrictive diet tend to be either super-informed about nutrition, or abysmally ignorant. These two would seem to be the latter.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

For people who were thinking of getting flowers for mother's day, I was just forwarded a link to this: [link] which makes a donation to various charities when you buy flowers. I bought the one that gives to Heifer.

The status is NOT quo.

If the trees start moving closer, avoid the guy named Macduff. It will only end badly for you.

BWAH! Since I started teaching good ol' Mackers this week, I'm finding this allusion especially amusing.

Sean, YIKES. Be safe, please.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

For people who were thinking of getting flowers for mother's day,

Give her a slow-moving, undersea plant!

My mother would love something like that. No, seriously!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Thanks for the link bon! I think I'll get the breast cancer ones for MIL, my mom always gets a donation in her name to Planned Parenthood or Ronald McDonald house.

If it's related to starfish, is it really a plant? Or does it just look like one?

Okay, fair point -- they *are* animals. But some have stalks that more or less keep them in place, and although the kind with stalks *can* move to avoid predators, they generally have never moved quickly....

UNTIL NOW!!!!
