Our wings are not tired.

It's not a bad storm and we are hoping for a bit of rain from it. It is up around the FL/GA border. It just is too soon for this stuff. [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, why are you awake?

Allergies.

I almost kinda went back to sleep though.

Trust my rage

I see it now. I swear it wasn't there when I first looked. Crazy!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My throat hurts from the smoke, and I feel like I'm breathing mud.

I can't figure out how to get out of neighborhood, and even if I did...I'm not sure how I could get back into it.

It's all weirdly ghost town outside except for annoyed drivers who are blocking the streets trying to get out. And I'm all, "dude, WHY would you have driven north?"

Even if one didnt have teevee or radio or internet, there's a 600 acre smoke signal warning people away.

I hate calling in to work a month into a new job, but I don't see ay choices.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In addition, medical studies have shown that there may well be a migraine personality where a migraine sufferer could have one or more of these characteristics: perfectionist; highly strung; conscientious; orderly; analytical; critical.

There's not a single one of these that's true across all the migraine sufferers I know. (And even if they were, I'm not sure how this is diagnostically useful.)

Stay safe, LAistas! Don't burn up!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You really don't have one, Allyson, and I am sure the new job people will understand that.

I'm glad you and Ruby and all your stuff are safe.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And even if they were, I'm not sure how this is diagnostically useful.

Could come into play in the non-drug treatment of migraines. Part of the biofeedback stuff I did was definitely aimed at making the sufferer less high-strung to mitigate pain (not my problem, precisely).
