actually told me for the first time that he had a different mom when he was a baby. I think he was worried I'd be upset, so he was relieved that it didn't upset me. brave little strong boy.
Aw, mac. What a cutie sweetie.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Little kid courage -- the world is so much bigger than them, and so are all their fears and worries, and still he braved your upset (and clearly trusted you'd keep loving him anyway despite the upset). And... no upset, just more love. Bless!

mac just made me weepy in a good way. sweet boy.
I had dinner tonight with some adorable kids, and now I want one! Crap.
They were adorable *during* dinner? Now I want one too.
Sleepy. Cute Mac. Poor thing. Poor sweet thing.
Hey, when it tells me to let the pears ripen in a paper bag with an apple or a banana, what's the other fruit for? Say, you don't have an apple or a banana...can I substitute something, or do I just trust in the lessened power of the brown paper bag?
Uh. Just remembered a disturbing dream I had a few nights ago that I wanted to discuss with someone and have kept forgetting to mention to them. And now they're out of town for a week.
I think any fruit is okay.
I was supposed to go to bed early.
Tried, even. Oh well.
Bananas give off loads of (memfault ripening gas stuff), which is why they are used. I assume apples is the same.
I should really stop trying to use my brain at night. It not work right and lose words.
Ethylene gas
Because of *course* I am going to remember right after I hit post and not, say, before I post.

I took a two-hour nap earlier tonight and am now wide awake. Whee?
Hey Kristin. Sorry you overnapped.
I am reading a commentary on a fic and it's near the end. The story doesn't want to stop to breathe and so neither can I.
It's cooling off outside drastically after a warm day and I am loving the air coming in through the windows (let's ignore allergies and bless Claritin and Benedryl for the time being) tonight.
I am at least being productive. I've created a study guide for Macbeth and reread the entire play. So I got that going for me.
The breeze sounds lovely. It was ungodly hot today (90 even down by the ocean in some places!), so I too am basking in the AC.
