A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

And also...

Alan is our friend, and he is silly because Eve thinks so.

Then it must be so.

What is even happening?

With a razor??? (I mean, probably, since what else could you use to shave off an eyebrow, but "didn't realize she was doing it"????)

Yes. And I did say, "I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't exactly believe that you didn't know and didn't realize you were doing it." She said she didn't think it would do anything without shaving cream. She made a nick in the other eyebrow, too. She swears she didn't even know she touched that one. I think I'm lucky she didn't shave her eyes off.

I just looked. I can't fix it. She has thick eyebrows, but they are gorgeously shaped (or were). People have commented on them since she was a baby. I asked if she didn't like them. She said she does like them. I asked if she thought they were too thick. She says she doesn't. I asked if anyone had said anything to her about her eyebrows. She says no.

Clearly, she's possessed by an eyebrow shaving demon. I think I'll take her to get them waxed on Monday. There's no way I can fix what she's done with tweezers in a humane amount of time.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh, dear. Wow, some lessons just suck to learn the hard way. Also, back away from the sharp things, J!

I think I'm lucky she didn't shave her eyes off.

Indeed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I asked if she didn't like them. She said she does like them. I asked if she thought they were too thick. She says she doesn't. I asked if anyone had said anything to her about her eyebrows. She says no.

Considering she's just decided to change her hair too, I think maybe she's just fascinated with the idea of a makeover, or changing the way she looks.

Bangs? Long bangs?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She said she didn't think it would do anything without shaving cream. She made a nick in the other eyebrow, too. She swears she didn't even know she touched that one. I think I'm lucky she didn't shave her eyes off.

I'm sorry, but that's pretty funny. I mean, given that she's the one who has to live with effed up eyebrows, and there was no actual damage. I'm guessing it's like when I doodled all over the couch, when I was well old enough to know better. I just.... did.

Little lady? Even were I little, I'd still want to kick ass for that.

Seriously.

Today was gorgeous! I did a lot of walking around, including to Jonathan Adler's new store, which was FAB. My friend who had never heard of him immediately said "This is such a happy place!" Little did she know about his book.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cindy, FWIW, I knew an emotionally stunted 15 year old boy who shaved off his eyebrows when I was in high school. His mother laughed at him to his face.

At least Julia didn't try using the Nair as shampoo, right?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

not to scare you Cindy, but my Grandmothr shaved off her eyebrows as a kid and they never fully grew back. makes no sense given how everyone I know has eyebrows grow back (thus the tweezing and the waxing), but it was the case with hers.

mac had 9 pouting fits today. I have started counting them for him on the weekends. He doesn't like it, but it also snaps him out of them right quick because he does not want to get a high number.

I yelled at him twice. He says screamed, but he has never heard me scream. He has no idea.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

She said she didn't think it would do anything without shaving cream.

Aw. Kid logic. At least it didn't happen right before school pictures.
