Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Since I got caught up on my sleep last night (zonked out on the couch before 10, didn't wake up until 8:30 this morning), I'll be able to do laundry and dishes tonight, and get a couple of swims in this weekend (first time in three weeks, due to the nastyhorriblepainful sinus infection) before going down to see my dad on Sunday afternoon. The rest of the time, I'll be watching my Netflix disc of Macbeth (Dench and McKellen--yay!) and working on my sister's wedding gift (finally got the first color in the border completely done so I have a base to count from for the rest of the border).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm going to a Little League practice at 9:30 on a Saturday. MORNING.

I have to leave the house close to 9:00 tomorrow, but I get to see JZ and Matilda, so it's hard to mind too much.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

What are people doing this weekend?

I have a concert Saturday night (Wagner, blah), and we leave for the cruise Sunday. Eek.

And the Derby is this weekend, isn't it?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Sure, though I think that's a handgun place, which of course is a lot like other guns but I have significantly less experience with.

I'm gonna plant stuff, I think.

Where are you going on the cruise, Dana?

The Western Caribbean. There will be some snorkeling. There will be eating. There will be attempting not to get sunburned.

There are three different dress codes on this boat. Cruises are apparently complicated.

This is why, if I ever take a cruise, I'll save up my pennies and do a Windjammer one--from what I've heard, they're very casual. The only dressing up would be for the day-trips on shore.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds like fun, Dana! IME limited experience, you don't really need to worry about clothes, because Americans are slobs.

You're my only gun-experienced NYC friend at all! As far as I know.
