I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think Natter took the good drugs and fell into a coma.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I think Natter took the good drugs and fell into a coma.

Is that a soma coma?

In name only. We never have figured out what soma was supposed to be.

Mmm, drug-induced happy coma... I hab code. Want to be unconscious.

Under the circumstances, I believe that you will have to settle for a coba.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am in the race to sleep so that being awake doesn't tense my shoulder up again. I had a day with no neck pain, and a day with no migraines. Took 6mg of dilaudid, IV benadryl, intramuscular lidocaine and some IV anti-inflammatory whose name I forget, but still! No pain!

The chick in the bed to the left of me was given 2mg of dilaudid and some of the IV anti-inflammatory and apparently she was flat out...tongue lolling and everything. Meanwhile, on my cocktail I'm talking shop with the nurses while my ride is wondering if I've gone and died when he went to get the car.

Okay. Ambien. Need bed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good morning, people!!!

OK, I'm not actually perky like that. I am already counting the minutes until I can work from home tomorrow and turn off my alarm clock. Sleeeepyyyy.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Today is thursday, yes?

One of the things I hate most about work is that when I wake up I begin a countdown to when I can get back in bed. That seems to show a lack of enthusiasm, doesn't it?
