Congrats, Stephanie!
ION, the New Horizons spacecraft swung past Jupiter on Feb 28th on its way to Pluto. So it took a bunch of Jovian pictures.
What's cool to me is some of the pictures were taken for artistic reasons, such as this one [link] that shows Europa behind Jupiter. Cool!

Congratulations again, Stephanie!
Oh yeah, and congratulations to you Stephanie!
(Man, some days they shouldn't even let me out on a day pass. Me, among the humans, can you believe it...)
Totally, Stephanie. Now you can squee all you like along with us! SQUEEEEEE!
Huzzah for public squeeage!
Kat, are you still around? Because, if so, please don't add any worry about a thank-you note to me to your to-do list. I got lovely boxes full of pre-loved Buffista baby clothes from several folks here and never wrote formal thank-you notes, so I'd feel like sort of a heel if I got one from you (unless you really enjoy writing them and I'm depriving you of a positive pleasure, in which case write all you like!). I think the main responsibility for the Buffista Baby Clothing Exchange is to pay it forward and pass 'em on to other parents who need them.
And, um, I realize that I have a big bag of boy/gender-neutral stuff for Jess and FoneBone, which I promise will go out soon, probably this Friday.
Congratulations Stephanie!
Here's a webpage for a woman who does genital horoscopes. [link]
Front page is worksafe. Some of the other pages have pencil drawings (eta: and pictures). Oh, and it's in German.
Bable Fish translation of one page:
Genital vintages was in my Georgian homeland a wide-spread technology for predicting future events and as an assistance with difficult decisions, that came to more and more over the centuries into oblivion. The women of my family retained this tradition as it the knowledge from generation to generation passing on. I learned the secrets of these practices of my nut/mother and extended her later, with the knowledge of other ranges, like for example of the Astrologie.
Congrats, Stephanie!
My best friend is leaving in a little more than a month to the USA - both her and her DH are going to do their Post-Doc in Stanford. If they could wait until the end of the semester, I would fly with them (and their toddler and their few-months-old baby) and help them out with the settling and all. As it stands, I hope I'll get to visit them sometime in the next year or two.
This really really needs to happen.
Really.
