Jessica, any dryer news?
Supposedly it's back in stock and will be delivered Saturday, and everything was the warehouse's fault. We'll see -- I'm hopeful but not optimistic at this point. And still hoarding quarters just in case.
I think the last time I've posted with you was way before you moved. How is the new place?
Nilly!! The new place is wonderful. There are still a few things left to be done (including all of the baby's room...oy...) but for the most part we're settled in.
Oh, it's a colic thing. I never had to worry about colic, but I'm told by thems that did that broccoli and cabbage are on the list of what to avoid, too. But fruit is good, right?
I'm going to try to cut out all sugar and carbs for 3 weeks. It sounds vaguely do-able, except for the breakfast part. I can't eat eggs 7 days a week, I'll have a heart attack. And then thereafter I'm supposed to switch over to some kind of crunchy granola, whole grain lifestyle. All of which would be easier if I was actually convinced that such changes would help me avoid
t insert terrifying disease here
but I'm not, at least not fully.

Yay!

How many weeks are you now?
Burrell, good luck with the diet. As for breakfast - maybe some dairy stuff?
Ginger!

Eggbeaters. I eat eggs 7 days a week. Sometimes I have yogurt instead (but not now with no dairy).
Aren't some vegetables problematic in a similar way, as well?
Yep, as Burrell notes. Luckily some of the problem vegetables are ones I dislike already (not a fan of cabbage or broccoli).
Avoiding dairy and wheat though is so much harder.

Maybe not, but sometimes a change in diet shifts one's world food view. I appreciate grains so much more when I've gone without for a while.
Nilly, what's new with you?
Nilly! I've missed your pixels. I thought of you when I heard a radio feature story about a guy who is trying to bring pro (more or less) baseball to Israel.

34 and counting. Here's a picture from Sunday.

When my dad started what he calls his "no funnel cakes" diet, breakfast was a whole wheat English muffin with lox on top. Not 100% carb-free, but pretty close.
I am no longer stuck in an airport hotel in Roanoke, VA. At least I've got that going for me today.
My right shoe has begun squeaking, which I fear is a sign of impending death throes. Oh, my Franco Sarto ankle boots, I'm not ready to part with you!
I love the Mayan Chocolate. But last night I went with B&J's Brownie Batter. It's no Americone but it's still good.
I just went with straight up brownie batter. And no, I'm not even kidding.
Toothiness: I've got a very chipmunk-with-a-golfball-tucked-in-its-cheek look going. V. nice. Hopefully I'll be more human by the end of the week.
