No matter what I do with my hips and waist, I will always have calves no boot can cover.
I can sooooo relate to this! The thighs and hips are melting away quite wonderfully, but those oh-so-lumpy calves? They ain't budgin' (especially the left one, for some reason). I'm hoping that they go down at least a bit before I have to wear that dress at Sis's wedding in October.
Go, marathoning Beej! I'm hoping if I can continue getting in better shape and actually work up to jogging instead of walking, maybe I can do a mini-triathalon in either 2008 or 2009. My sister loves doing them, and has got me thinking about it for myself.
I am a C that goes braless a lot. i'm not perky, but most real bras with enough support poke me. Yes, even the ones I've bought at fittings. People with just have to deal with my less than perfectly placed breasts. and I like shelf bras.
Go Kathy! go Beej! When I seriously wok out my calves grow too.
Sorry to hear about the Eastern Market
Yesterday I gardened my self into an asthma attack. Did it to myself. but I am trying to be positive, because how will I know my limits if I don't occasionally go past them. And it gives me a good reason to catch up on TIVO and the dvds that are waiting for me to watch them
Ooooh. These would fit! They give the actual calf opening. How excellent is that? Thanks for the tip Steph.
Beej, I have those EXACT boots, in red. I love love LOVE them!
That seems to be reasonably good news about Teddy.
( i knew there was something I had forgotten)
I have a plus-sized friend who has these incredible strappy tank tops with a full underwire bra built in.
Jesse, if you could find out where she got them, I would love you for ever and ever!
ChiKat! Are you done teaching yet?
jogging instead of walking
Not for me! Bless you for wanting to run. I've given that up as a never again thing in my life. My bones rattle enough as it is! So I'm intensely grateful that walking and spinning are getting me good results without having to resort to jogging. I'd just embarrass myself.
Beej, I have those EXACT boots, in red. I love love LOVE them!
WELL. With that endorsement, I can't go wrong! Yay, I've always wanted cowperson boots but have been embarrassed by and made uncomfortable (PINCH) by the calf hanging over...or not allowing the boot to go all the way up. So yay for discovery.
ChiKat! Are you done teaching yet?
I am! I finished on Friday. Now, it's job hunting time.
I linked above to a strappy camisole with the underwire built in.
