But that's just my point! You she obeys! She obeys you! There's obeying going on right under my nose!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Megan, if you get a place near BART it shouldn't be too bad. My house is not close to BART, though, so I took the carpool into the city and the bus out, and it's the outbound traffic that would be affected. Looks like BART is going to be ramping up their train frequency, too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

In retrospect, they shouldn't have named it the Salvador Dali Memorial Onramp....

In retrospect, they shouldn't have named it the Salvador Dali Memorial Onramp....

It's perfect for crazy meltyland.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I *finally* put up the shades in the living room today. No more squinting into the sun while watching TV! If only there was something on...

My ever-helpful roommate also turned off the brand-new air scrubber that I bought for my home office for the week I was away. Talk about not getting the concept....

I need to remember that in her worldview, she was trying to be helpful.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I can't believe that truck driver actually made it out of the wreck alive.

Perhaps an 80°+ sunny day was not the ideal time to try Jamie Bamber's sprinting on/off workout, as I am not actually someone in excellent shape to start with who's used to training for hours every day. Though I did make my 3 miles in 30 minutes instead of the usual 50.

Jessica, if I die from it I expect you avenge me by force-feeding Bamber cheesecake until his LDL hits 300 the next time you meet.

Always Anti-fascist!

I read some more about Ms. Jones. She was actually quite accomplished at being Dean of Admissions and had raised diversity admissions by 11 percent.
