Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love that suit, lisah! I may have to go try that shit on. Yay B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

This weekend, my major plan is to be in my apartment. I feel like meara, with two business trips in two weeks! And also, I was just in Indiana for the first time ever, making me feel even more meara-ish. I'm super excited to sleep tonight, since I did NOT get a Heavenly Bed in my hotel room. The bathroom kind of made up for it, though -- I actually checked my bag coming home so I could take all the shampoo and conditioner!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oy.

This job may be turning my brain to putty. I opted to skip the job walk that would have been all dusty and stuff and made my head hurt worse, and instead stayed back in the office reconciling database dumps.

I have to say--Excel's conditional formatting function is truly amazing. I just wish you could put more than three conditions in.

Their sorting is way fucked though. And it's hard to work out with all that "This looks like a number! Please let me treat it like a number!" freaking out it does.

Sweeps--is that starting next week or the one after?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I don't have to come in an hour and half early on Monday. (the way I do a lot of weeks) YAY me!

Other plans for the weekend I've just remembered:

  • Return that iPod power adapter you bought in DECEMBER
  • Return the cami-bra to Macy's (because they had it cheaper online)
  • Return the two pairs of pants (and maybe the belt) to Ann Taylor Loft, because my discount coupon just came in the mail. Which means I'll just turn around and buy them again, perhaps online to avoid looking totally cheap.

Okay. Going home. Why am I b.orging at work? Truly putty.

I don't know -- could it be already? Last night's shows felt awfully sweeps-y.

I will also be doing laundry and cleaning and grocery shopping in addition to Sunday's roller derby and Secret Crush Society. Oh and IKEA because it is out that way. Anybody else pre-event IKEAing?

I lay down on the futon to read an article after shooting the cat and whoa. Conked right out. Woke up pretty abruptly too, to the point my brain is awake but I'm not so sure about my body. It's got that sleepy heaviness.

Whee! Two eBay packages are here. I'll try those on, think about vacuuming, take some painkillers, and then sleep.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What are people doing this weekend?
Throwing a surprise party for my parents' 25th anniversary.

Um, which I need to pack for as my "schleping the Kittenish to the cattery and getting me to my plane" starts hella early tomorrow.

But, hey, 25 years! That's kinda cool.

Art Crawl!!!

Sweeps started last night.

My plans: hopefully rest my ankle enough so that I can walk next week. Also, I must mail some stuff and drop some stuff off at the library and should also go to the grocery store.
