You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Jilli! Did you know that bats are a sign of good fortune in China?

I got a bat at IKEA.

Fu-bats! I've seen some gorgeous designs of them.

Ikea has bats now?

Sara, I saw that you called yesterday but missed the phone as I was attached to milk machine.

Yes. Very cute plush bats which are baby-safe. I gave Tickybox one.

I, ME, sarameg, gave ita a disturbing image! [snip] I don't know whether to be proud or concerned.

Well I, for one, am impressed. If that helps.

Ooooh! I want a stuffed bat or two. We already have stuffed gargoyles. A bat seems about right.

Yep, IKEA has bats. To the point I broke my rule about buying my own stuffed animals. Cause BATS!!! I may get more for distribution. EDIT: PLAN TO VISIT IKEA SOON. I really, really like bats. I wish they made good pets. With cats.

Kat, no prob. I just was being goofy to wish you a happy monthiversary, and didn't feel voicemail was necessary (also? it's freaky that you know I called sans a message. I mean, I know that's how phones work and all these days, but I'm still a throwback to the days of "no answer, no message, no evidence.") Also? I'm quite used to talking to friends to the drone of a pump in the background. R use to use her pumping downtime to call. It was kinda funny. If loud.

I oughta go to bed, in the nice cool non-a/ced apt, now.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Tickybox also has a stuffed cthulhu.

My friend Julie sent me "hands-free pumping" paraphenalia. It's freaky, but she mentioned good for commuting. Which scares me a little. Plus, my commute? not that far.

Things I'm looking for today? Freezer space.
