Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

36B is small. So says the 42DD.

Librarian Warlord

My plantar fasciitis is aggravated when I fall asleep on my back with my heels pressing against the mattress, so I can see why driving might contribute to the pain. Also, I can't wear my Chaco sandals because they're just not squishy enough -- it's like walking on hard flooring all day and my feet scream.

34DDD/DDDD (depending on cut) over here believes firmly that anything sold at REI slots into dainty and delicate.

But that could be my bitterness about the lack of larger-sized sports bras there.

(Oh! ita! I got one of the DKNY ones. Wish I could have found it in black, but all they had in my size was nude. It really is great!)

Well, that's the thing. I guess I said it backwards: I am 36B and I grabbed a medium and it was too small. WTF? I've seen this before, this presumption that athletic women of average build have small breasts, and it isn't necessarily so.

What is even happening?

There might not be that much of a call for sports bras for women who wear cup sizes smaller than a B. Maybe that's why it's small?

Ah. And yeah. At my most athletic, I was wearing a full C that, in retrospect, was probably actually a D, down a band size. Sports bras were frustrating.

When I started (I need to restart, sigh) jogging last summer, I was closer to a 38G. Finding a fucking sports bra for that size without a second mortgage on the house was nigh impossible.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Those are fun, Jon! You may start a trend of kids wanting theremins.

Seriously! Those are great, Jon. You look like you're having a lot of fun. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed "Theremin Killed the Radio Star."

And, Happy Birthday, Betsy!
