Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, let's do the fortune cookie bed thing with the second paragraph above:

Water has a freezing point of 273.15 K (0 °C or 32 °F) but can be supercooled at ambient pressure down to its crystal homogeneous nucleation at almost 231 K (−42 °C) - in bed! If cooled at a rate of the order of 1 million kelvins per second, the crystal nucleation can be avoided and water becomes a glass - in bed! Its glass transition temperature is much colder and harder to determine, but studies estimate it at about 165 K (−108 °C) - in bed! Glassy water can be heated up to approximately 150 K (−123 °C) - in bed! In the range of temperatures between 231 K (−42 °C) and 150 K (−123 °C) experiments find only crystal ice - in bed!

Sorry. That amused me. I hope it amused at least one other person....

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Aw, that sucks aurelia. I hope you have a much better tomorrow.

I'll do your productive things if you do mine. It will be like Wife Swap, only with chores.

I'm on vacation, and in the last week, I've probably been 10x as productive as I am at home, if you don't count the time when I'm at work. If I'm at church or at someone else's home, I feel urges to do dishes, wipe counters, sweep, even mow the lawn (ok, the last two probably only for family or close friends, but still). At home, it's like pulling teeth for me to do any more than basic maintenance, or to do even the basics any earlier than absolutely necessary. In short, I think this is a great idea, and want to join a club.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

In short, I think this is a great idea, and want to join a club.

I'll join!

Errands are done. Photos for portfolio are printed. Materials for tomorrow's tech have been gathered. Gossip was traded. Now to get some sleep.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm the same way! It's so weird. libkitty, I'll go on vacation to your house, and you can go on vacation to my house, and we'll both come home to clean houses.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The person below me is playing something so loud my floor is shaking. I feel annoyed on principle, but since I'll be curled up in front of the TV again in a second it's not actually affecting me much. I wonder if they have any adjoining walls with other apartments.

Skipping and poking head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Betsy HP's birthday. Happy birthday, Betsy! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo Birdies, Betsy!

I'm sitting in front of the hyuuge picture window in my Mom's nice little kitchen, watching geese fly past her five story window, but the regular song-birdies are already drowning out the distant honking.

Happy Birthday Betsy!

I was sadly too late to get tickets last night for Picasso at the Lapin Agile and thus spend two hours ogling the actor I have a crush on. I'll head out after lunch today to see if I can scam a cancellation ticket to the last performance.
