I figured these wouldn't actually fit, because the number they give for the circumference is smaller than my calf, but I figured it was worth a shot with free shipping. The leg is actually pretty big -- I have the laces pulled tight, and I've tried on many a boot that didn't fit over my leg. FYI for anyone with boot-fitting issues....

Natter Area 51: The Truthiness Is in Here
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
There's a point at which you have to take responsibility for the information I kinda hide from you.
New Natter title?

Taking responsibility for ourselves? Why would we do that?
I like those boots, Jesse, but they don't make them in my size. Oh well.
I am trying to decide if I want to try to go back to sleep. (it kind of but not really worked earlier), or just suck it up and nap when I get home this afternoon.
Jesse's boots don't come in my size, either.
I went to a yoga class this morning - first one since we moved here - and I suspect my shoulders will be sore tomorrow and my arms all floppy. Go me?
Taking responsibility for ourselves? Why would we do that?
Right. It's not like we didn't have any place to point our fingers.
PC Richards is making me want to SCREAM. Idiot salesperson has been calling me every day with another reason I'm going to have to pay extra to get what he promised me (and charged me for) in the store on Tuesday. You'd think by this point he'd realize that I am (a) smarter than him and (b) a bitch who always wins in these situations.
Right now, I'm waiting for him to "see what he can do" about the fact that the free installation he promised me apparently only applies to the dryer, not the washer. Telling me "we never talked about the washer!" is such bullshit I don't even know where to begin. If he wants to charge me for installation, he can knock that amount off the price of the machines, end of story.
Very nice boots, Jesse! Kinda makes me miss NYC, where several types of comfortable black boots were pretty much my entire shoe wardrobe. My Los Angeles lifestyle does not really lead to boots-wearing. I am more of a Keds and Converse person these days.
One thing I like about LA (okay, one of many) is the wardrobe flexibility. During most of summer I just have to wait until the sun goes down and then it can be boots and jacket weather again. Well, boots and jacket for me. Not actually cold, and perhaps only slightly cool.
Not hot.
Jesse's boots don't come in my size, either.
They told me I was getting the last pair in my size, so I'm guessing there just aren't many left.
I just took two 15-minute walks in my new boots, and aside from being maybe a little big, they are in fact awesome. In between the two walks, I went to mac's bday at Chuck E. Cheese. It's funny how much that place is like a casino. I also replenished my summer wardrobe at Old Navy. Now I feel like I should be back outside, because it's GORGEOUS out.
Happy Mac Day!!!!!
