The only true cheese doodle is the Wise cheese doodle, which I can only get when I'm back east. Oh, I'd been lured into the clutches of the Cheeto, but that was only because of my long, Western exile. I'd forgotten the truth path, until my sojourn in the mystic East some years back. And then I remembered.

Our reunion was brief, but memorable. I smuggled a bag back to my Western fastness. It was soon gone--and not shared with my husband, no matter how he pouted.

Perhaps someday I'll return to the land of my forefathers and greet the Wise doodle again.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

My Dad sent me this [link] to a 20-minute video on Google with this comment:

It's a wonderful use of computer graphics to demonstrate both substantive information and the potential for using this mode of presentation to enhance learning.

The caption on the Google page puts it this way:

With the drama and urgency of a sportscaster, Hans Rosling debunks a few myths about the "developing" world. Rosling is professor of international health at Sweden's world-renowned Karolinska Institute, and founder of Gapminder, a non-profit that brings vital global data to life.

I liked it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMTG: I just saw an ad for "National Bingo Night" on ABC. Have we finally reached the bottom?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Have we finally reached the bottom?

We have. And apparently, someone's started to dig.

What is even happening?

Yes, and from beneath that, it devours.

Aw the Pens got shut out. Sorry to see them out of the playoffs.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

He sounds like the Buffybot. An insane Buffybot.

Time to bomb. Evildoers of the world, beware.

That'll put marzipan in their pie plates, bingo!

The only true cheese doodle is the Wise cheese doodle

Nuh uh! THIS is the one true cheese doodle.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, the Pens sucked. The SO is so disappointed because they totally didn't show up. No drive.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

They obviously forgot the rug.

JZ, I love you, but that is SUCH a SanFran (insert whatever reputation for liberalism and newfangled fancypants locale) interpretation of the cheese doodle. Baked? Real cheese? BLEU CHEESE?! It's probably even organic. With no petroleum products or dyes.
