Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am eating a turkey frozen dinner. It is "Inspired by Grandma."

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I wouldn't like the move to Fridays, I hate the "taking the football stuff out" thing too. Don't. Mess. With. My. Show.

Plus, come August, a lot of your target audience is out, y'know at the friggin game!

ETA: Had a spinich turkey wrap and vegetable soup with cibatta bread from Whole Foods.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor lost Nilly...

(I lost my best ones on NYE!)

There's got to be a story there, what with the "losing" stockings.

I just had to pull a very junior staff member into a very senior meeting, at the last moment. She did very well, but I could tell she was totally nerve-wracked. Poor noodle.

That sounds dodgy, whose grandma and why was she freezing turkeys?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Nilly lost 17? I can't decide if it is more or less tragic than losing your best fishnets.

It'd be even worse if their goal was to make it taste like grandma.

Now that Nilly has lost 17, she can discover 28, the most perfect number ever.

Swouncing

beth! Happy birthday!

Now that Nilly has lost 17

But I've found it again! Maybe yesterday I saw the perfection of 28. I don't know. Clearly I was a bit confused by then.

And now, I'm off home. For a - well, not a nap, one of my roommates has an exam with numbers in it at the end of the week (even though she studies one of these subjects with lots of long words in them), and I promised I'd help out a bit translate them into a language she understands. But the weekend is soon, and next week is our Independence day, so a day off, and I'll be able to sit and tell about "how I lost my beloved 17 (and all of Tuesday) and found it again (on Wednesday)".

[Edit: hmm, does that mean I'm a day older? Or a day younger? Should my own birthday change now, on account of that? Or can we have a month with an extra (or minues one) day in it? Or will I? And then I will never be in the same date as everybody? Sort of like in another dimension, or even a time travel, only just for a day each time? Or like when you move the clock one hour ahead or forwards, only with a day instead? Month-light saving time?]
