Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That is very awesome news, Allyson. Really, there's no way that means anything but they like you, they really really like you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Doesn't it mean Barnes & Nobles is gay?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Only Noble. Barnes is bi.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Bwah!

DUDE. It means you are MADE OF AWESOME.

I was going to post this exact thing! Except I was thinking about italics.

I am so excited about your book. Will you still love us if it goes completely huge?

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Table placement at B&N or any of the chains is very very good and pretty much ensures better sales.

Yes, this! Wonderful news, Allyson. Congrats!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Great news, Allyson. That means sales and that means money and that means you'll get another opportunity to write another book. All good things.

And finally, words cannot express how much this [link] and this [link] slayed me. (Matilda and Matilda and Emmett for the unidentified-link shy among us.)

Emmett has been resolutely unwavering in his big brother doting. Matilda thinks he is the funniest one of all.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Will you still love us if it goes completely huge?

I think the chances of the book beng completely huge are about the same as hot moroccan guy being into me.

SHUT UP ITA.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, which is to say, WILL YOU STILL LOVE US???

And now for something completely different. Can you read this?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I can read it,but I have to think about some of the words. It's not effortless.

Allyson's gonna sell a lot of books, woo!

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

What the... ? You know, it's a relatively interesting little thing, but adding the bits at the top and bottom to say, "Hey, aren't you cool and above-average for being able to read it" kind of contradict the point made within the text, doesn't it?
