And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I love Kai Ryssdal. Even though I couldn't have spelled his name before now.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also, Venus and Andy so very much deserve to be slashed. I'm totally serious.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ah. It was "Dogs" by Pink Floyd. And its not included, as it was one of the more expensive songs.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a dorkish love for the music they play under the stock market report on Marketplace -- they do "We're in the Money," "Stormy Weather," and one more I'm forgetting, right?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

"It Don't Mean a Thing, If It Ain't Got That Swing"

Wow -- I really never thought about how to spell that. It's funny how things that are aural will never transfer to a written format in my head.

A quite a few NPR people who fit into this category: Mandalit del Barco, Lakshmi Singh, Ofeibea Quist-Arcton, Snigdha Prakash. I love how they say their names, but seeing them written out is weird.

Seriously. I haven't listened to Marketplace in years and years. Why does this stuff get stuck in my brain?

Same reason I know Lysana's full name.

Our wings are not tired.

I was just listening to NPR in the car on my way to lunch. Bad plan to try and drive when they are doing interviews with the Virginia Tech people. So sad. They were talking about the RA at the dorm. 4.0 triple major senior and member of the marching band. I ended up not getting any lunch and just going back to the office.
