Happy birthday, beth!

I don't think I eat bacon 14 times a month, and I love bacon. I eat it maybe once a week, and not very much when I do.

And in work news, I always find it funny when users get huffy and CC: their bosses about being denied access to certain resources when 99% of the time it just turns out they've forgotten their password.

Swouncing

I knew Ellen S. in college, and it was a complete coincidence to meet her at b.org.

Replace "Ellen S." with "Calli," and I could say the same as flea.

I had no idea. That's so cool!

Remember when Angus found out that one of the other Australian posters was actually one of his students?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's funny, people randomly coming across each other here! I think I only know people here from here.

Thrive to spite them

Daniel and I met through a Buffy related chat. I think I found the chat room after I found the Buffistas (this was back on Table Talk).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday, Beth!

Lee and I know each other from grad school, pre-'fistas.

Yeah!

I don't want to be awake.

What is even happening?

Errrgh. I made Noah and Grace's respiratory therapist laugh yesterday, but now I think he wants revenge.
What happened, Kat?

Sparky, did Lee introduce you to b.org, or did you run into her by accident, here?

I knew Ellen S. in college, and it was a complete coincidence to meet her at b.org.

That's really cool, flea. Did it take you long to figure out that you knew one another?

Did it take you long to figure it out, Fred Pete?

My acquaintance coincidence was Zoe. She knew one of my college roommates.

Oh my word, that's right. I'd blocked that out. She didn't live too far from UTTAD, either.

A year later, an acquaintance of my E's mother, who turned out to be M's aunt, played the match-maker and introduced them. The got married, have two adorable daughters, and the only people who remember that once upon a time they passed each other in some building, are my brother and myself.
That's a wonderful story, Nilly. They don't remember it, at all. Hee.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I wouldn't say I knew her "well", but Betsy and I were acquainted with each other from rec.arts.comics, and we'd actually met once at a Worldcon, IIRC. Also Brenda M (Lysana on LJ). And I was already good friends with SF-Marty and Debg's husband.

I recruited shrift to the Buffistas, though we still met in fandom.

Where did you met, Dana?

Oh, neat. I knew you knew Marta and Nic, but not Lysana and Betsy.

In fact, one of the reasons that I started regularly posting to the Buffy topic on TT was that I recognized not only Betsy, but also Jerry Boyajian and Mitch Wagner, so I felt "safe" about using my real name and online identity.

Not Brenda M... I think her last name is D. (Why is my brain filled with this kind of thing??)
