Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

What is even happening?

Four Weddings and a Funeral?
I saw it, but I don't remember him in it. I just went to his imdb page. I remember a lot of Mr. Bean ads, and they puzzled me at the time, because they seemed to present Mr. Bean as a character I should already know.

JZ, yeah, I just plucked the name out of the atmosphere. I looked, said, "Oh, it's that guy, Mr. Bean. Rowan Atkinson! No. Wait. Rowan Martin. No, that's Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. Is it Rowan Atkinson? Oh what the hell."

Oh my, we have to do our taxes. I don't know why we wait so long every year. We're likely getting a refund. Sometimes, I hate us.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I got 89% on the familiar faces test. I'm scared to take the other one. I missed Condoleeeezzzzza Rice. I think it was because my brain froze in horror at the hideousness of the photo.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Did anyone take the car test?

Overall, you got 96% correct

The average person with normal object recognition scores about 85% on this test. Men and women score similarly on this test. If you scored less than 70% on this test, this may indicate difficulties with visual memory or object recognition.

I got two wrong. I'm somewhat annoyed I didn't get them all right.

Some of the cars were very easy. Some cars might be tricky for some, for example, the Lincoln Ton Car is very similar in profile to the Mercury Grand Marquis, as they share the same chassis .

information libertarian

I can only identify foreign cars, specifically expensive European cars (BMWs, Volvs, etc.). mr. flea mocks me regularly for this, and blames a snooty New England upbringing. But really, most cars look alike. To me.

A lot of new cars look alike to me. But there was enough variety (eg, some SUVs) that I did well. Now, if it had been American cars from 1957 to 1975, I would have gotten fifty billion percent right....

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Zenkitty, I so very nearly got that one wrong. I kept looking at it and thinking, "I want to say Condoleeza Rice, but how the hell could a shiny glossy Secretary of State have such crappy skin and such horrible teeth? What terrible things does it say about me that I even think someone with a face like that could be Condoleeza Rice? I'm positive my hatred for the entire Administration is warping my vision of one of its prime movers and shakers, but that's going to have to be my guess if I'm being honest." I was flabbergasted that I got that one right.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Barnes and Noble wants to promote my book on a table. What does that mean?

Aims - Apr 02, 2007 3:29:07 pm PDT #296 of 10001
Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's good! It means it gets put on a table with a sign! As well as on the regular shelf!

You get to make money by having your stuff on a table and you don't have to be nekkid!

What is even happening?

That it won't just be stuck in the stacks, and that it will actually sell to people who don't know you and you will earn back your advance plus.

Out of 20 target cars (ones you studied in the first part of this test), you correctly identified 20.
Out of 30 nontarget car (ones that didn't study in the first part of this test), you correctly responded that you had not seen 29 of them.

Overall, you got 98% correct
The average person with normal object recognition scores about 85% on this test. Men and women score similarly on this test. If you scored less than 70% on this test, this may indicate difficulties with visual memory or object recognition.

I did the same on the shoe test.
