At the very least, Kat, the stuff on this site seemed targeted to accommodate the needs of the NICU, so hopefully not that long. I think they fasten differently from normal onesies for that reason.
ita, by any chance, was the site Anna's? I was looking at that site yesterday, and they seemed to have sleepers that accommodated all the NICU mechanics, but I couldn't get a close enough look to see for myself. that it would work while not being hell for mom or the nursing staff to deal with.
I'm fairly happy with the results of using a demi. If I leave it on a little longer than recommended, it takes hold of the gray enough that it lasts a few weeks, and I don't really care if it's initially too dark. I doubt I'll use a permanent dye again. Even if I'm not really allergic to them, I hate the stark way the roots grow out. I don't hate the way my hair looks with the gray; it's silvery and I think it's kinda pretty. Once it's grown out enough that I can cut off the reddish-brown part that was permanent-dyed, I may let it go natural. Maybe. I've been very conflicted over my hair lately.
Insert obligatory "boner" joke here:
Scientists say they have successfully made immature sperm cells from human bone marrow samples.
If these can be grown into fully developed sperm, which the researchers hope to do within five years, they may be useful in fertility treatments.
ION, it is cold and wet and miserable here. I got no sleep at all because MiniMoon was elbowing me in the kidneys ALL FREAKING NIGHT. This afternoon definitely calls for a nap.
Going outside today was a huge mistake. I went to the chain drug store a little ways away to get cold medicine and whatnot, and my pants, socks, and shoes were completely all the way soaked.
Timelies all!
I'm keeping an eye on the ever-increasing amount of grey in my hair. Since no one else has mentioned anything about it, I guess it's not enough to worry about. (Actually, I'm curious to see how I look with salt-and-pepper hair)
Yuck. I have to go into work today and I've been procrastinating something awful. ION, can you believe Don Cheadle just beat Phil Ivey in the NBC Heads-Up tourney?! ... I should probably get out of here.
Me too, Zenkitty! I've only dyed my hair a few times in the past, but I have a lot of grey/white, sort of scattered throughout the whole head, with lots of white at the temples (the rest is my original color of plain old brown). I'm debating dying it for my sister's wedding this fall, just because I don't want to look like the oldest person there. My sister has been dying hers since her mid-20s (if she let it go, she'd probably be 75% white or more, even though she's only 43), my mom since her mid 30s, and my stepmom for as long as I've known her.
I might go with a demi sometime this month just to see if I like it--if so, I can try a permanent color two weeks before the wedding.
No, Cindy--babylinq.com.
Jessica, I think there's also the "Immature sperm cells?" we should also be avoiding because we're sophisticated like that.
Going outside for me today will be a big mistake, but there's no way around it. I just don't wanna. Want to curl up in front of the TV and soothe myself with hot beverages and stupid programming.

That's what I'm doing, except with cold beverages. And caramel Kisses.
I have all the tax doing stuff (forms, W-2s, scratch paper, tiara, calculator, pencils, and the ipod/speakers) spread across my table, and the first 4 of many loads of laundry in.
That would make this a bad time to take a nap, right?
