Why so blue, liese?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

September is close enough to summer that I don't see how it could possibly matter, unless it's outdoors and you'll be freezing cold, in which case just add some kind of shrug or capelet or something, just as DJ said.

Though, to be absolutely certain of the best possible advice (and also give you sixty jillion links to eighty kerbrillion made-of-awesome shoulder-covering options), we should probably see pictures.

Baby pictures are here, courtesy of Rock Star Scola, who gave us a snazzy Flickr pro account. Because he is a Rock Star. Complete with ungodly charismatic smile and all.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We have life-sucking cloud here, too! They promised warm and sunny and yet? NSM.

I have your warm and sunny.

And am irritable and overworked.

Hmph.

Great article, Jilli! I don't suppose you watch Ace of Cakes on Food Network? On the episode yesterday, a mom got her daughter a Gothy Sweet Sixteen cake -- all black and red and skulls and awesome.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Yup. WNYC Morning Edition weather people, why have you betrayed me???

Awww, that sounds so cute! No, I don't watch Ace of Cakes, what with us not having cable. I'll have to see if there are clips on the Food Network site.

I'm just glad I did dress more for the 45 it was at the time, not the 68 that was promised.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Why so blue, liese?

I have no freaking idea. The SO was a tad depressed lately, and I worked his out, no problem. He enacted solutions to the root problems, and he's good to go. But myself? No clue.

We're back with the kids today, so I'll spend the day engulfed in work, and that'll probably help.

hip deep in pie

It was sunny here, but now, it's more the weather condition I call mysteriously sunny. (Cloudy, but still very bright outside.)
