Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Four ducks flew by my window. Aw.

A few minutes later, I heard some crazy quacking and looked out to see what was up. Duck sex was up! Two males on a female. EW!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hot duck on duck on duck action!

I am beginning to suspect that some ducks have rather loose morals... (without going so far as to mention that thing that gets mentioned often here....)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The guy who played John Jarndyce in the recent Bleak House miniseries was Wedge Antilles from Star Wars!

Neat! I didn't know about the Ewan-relatedness, either.

I love this blog post, if only for the title -- Anything An Octopus Can Do, A Parrot Can Do Better.

Sorry you had to deal with a postal asshat, Kat.

That's right, it's the time of year for nature's amorous displays...

My computer just started making a horrid blurble. It was the "mail" ding, but it was..fragmented. It's fine now, but that was odd.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG. I got into a bitch session at the end of the work day that lasted an hour and a half. Too much! At least I am increasingly grateful that I've managed to avoid traveling with my boss.

Art Crawl!!!

FNL: Damn, it almost had me crying BEFORE the opening titles. And then Tim Riggins went and made me mad. I was so excited for Landry. And now. . . well, how the heck was that news ever going to be kept quiet ?

sumi, pretty much me too. Though I wasn't mad at Riggins. It seemed typical of him, shortsighted, but well intentioned that backfires on him. Boy is his own worst enemy.

boss + travelling with =/= the good.

Just back from the hospital. I'm irritated in that beyond category on one level and yet relieved on another. Stooopid avoidy doctors.

You know what's funny? I'm taping this. Over Firefly's Out of Gas (since I have it on dvd.) Probably not an auspicious move.
