The guidelines I read didn't distinguish between various sorts of cushions as potential mitehouses. But Kristin will probably know better, at the very least. But I supposed that they could make the coverings out of the same stuff as the higher end mattress covers. I don't mind the mattress cover I got, but it is noisier than I'm used to.

Oh, if the handwheel has an inner knob/wheel that twists within the outer wheel (not turning anything like a belt, just loosening and tightening sort of on its own), that could be it. I've sewn on some machine or other that did that.
Perkins the cat just went insane, and is chasing air from one side of the apartment to the other.
Am I allowed to lock him in the closet?
Well, it has the stop motion, but I haven't noticed another. Then, I fucked with the wheel less using the stop motion than I did recently.
I feel like if I could fiddle with it I could figure it out, but I can't visualize it well enough to fiddle remotely. Sorry.
Lee, I can't believe you want to let the air get away! I am also imagining the thump thump thump of a crazed cat inside a closet, and that would not be soothing. But you know Perkins best.
Feh.

Eh. It's an asshole piece of machinary, but once I tame it, look out. I will master the ruffle foot and the embroidery function. Yes. I shall have gimped button holes. Just you wait.
Can you lock the air in the closet instead?
And I way overpeppered my bread cubes for Cass' panzanella caprese for tonight. I am having a seasoning issue day.Oh! I had totally forgotten about that dish. I am going to make it tomorrow! YAY! (It tends to work well for me well-peppered, too.)

I remember a machine on which the inner part of the handwheel was a large rocker switch.
Go, Perkins! Get that air!
I can hear "Sounds of Silence" blaring through the walls. At 2 a.m.
